TechnoMarine Replica Watches

It’s difficult to imagine that a single watch could spark a rise to fame such as that experienced by TechnoMarine. When the “Rave” model was first introduced in 1997 the luxury watch community scoffed at the creative genius of Franck Dubarry, a young upstart who while having a law degree and experience in the advertising field, knew little about watch manufacturing. Imagine their surprise when the “Rave” sold 50,000 pieces in its first year!

Franck Dubarry loves the sea and all things related to it. He also knows how to successfully advertise a product and has a love of watches. He combined these three elements to produce the first “Rave” a chronographic diving watch with a transparent plastic strap. He marketed the watch as a “vacation” watch that was equally at home on land or sea. Even more surprising was the watch price, a mere $250.00 dollars.

Of course to the surprise of all but Dubarry the “Rave” was an immediate success and so began the meteoric rise of the company known as TechnoMarine.

Not content to settle for just one successful watch Dubarry set about establishing a corporate headquarters and developing a successor for the “Rave”. His next model was the TechnoDiamond, a fully functional, diamond paved bezel, chronographic diving watch with gel filled strap was another instant hit. So completely beyond the realm of traditional watch making was this model that it won the acclaim of the industry at Basel Watch Show in Switzerland in 1999.

Since that time Dubarry and his TechnoMarine creations have become one of the most popular brands with the celebrity set as well as the common man. Their reasonable pricing, dramatic and creative styling and technical excellence has won the hearts of fans such as Ringo Starr, Barbara Streisand, Madonna and many others.

Today TechnoMarine offers over 110 models all of which bare the unique styling genius of Dubarry. With over 2000 outlets in 50 countries TechnoMarine is no longer the “new kid on the block”. The company’s overwhelming success has become accepted and respected by the “elite” of watch manufacturing. With watches becoming more and more a fashion accessory it is highly unlikely that the company will experience a decline in its popularity and fortunes in the foreseeable future.

TechnoMarine Replica Watches - A Brief History
The history behind the company known as TechnoMarine is nothing short of incredible.

The company was begun by a young man called Franck Dubarry. As a young law student Dubarry spent his vacations working as a diving and sailing instructor at Club Med. This is undoubtedly where the nautical aspects found in his watches stem from.

Following graduation and a stint as the owner of a highly successful advertising agency Dubarry combined his love of the water and water sports with his affection for watches. In 1997 he perceived a gap in the market between high end watch companies and low end brands that no one was addressing at that time. Sensing that the right product could be highly successful by operating in this gap Dubarry set out to develop a watch that would fill it. So it was that the first TechnoMarine model was developed and sold. The model was known as the “Raft” and was marketed as a vacation watch. Incredibly it sold for a mere $250.00 and was an instantaneous success selling over 50,000 models in its first year.

The truly amazing thing about the “Raft” was that it was a chronographic diving watch with a plastic, translucent strap. The elite of the watch making world scoffed at the idea that such a product could possibly succeed, yet the “Raft” did so in spades.

In 1999 TechnoMarine established a corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California and it was from here that Dubarry, realizing he did not want the “Raft” to be a one hit wonder, set about developing the brand into one that would have an enduring life span.

Soon a whole collection of diving watches was developed including the well known TechnoDiamond. So innovative and creative was the TechnoDiamond that it was hailed as truly revolutionary at that years watch show in Basel. Combining superior craftsmanship and creativity the TechnoDiamond was the first diamond chronograph which was a completely functional diving watch as well as a fashion accessory.

The company has gone on since that time to become a favorite of many well known personalities. Today it has 110 distinctive models and is continuing to grow.
Technomarine Replicas

The introduction of TechnoMarine watches in 1997 signified the creation of an entirely new category of luxury fashion timepieces. Unique and revolutionary in its combination of plastic and diamonds, soon to be followed by diamond bezels, established the TechnoMarine name as synonymous with unbridled creativity, individual sophistication, strong character and product integrity.

In December of 1997, Franck Dubarry, a sportsman with a taste for the good life, a love for the sea and a great appreciation for beautiful designs, created TechnoMarine. Going beyond the normal expectations of a timepiece, TechnoMarine has evolved to become a full lifestyle brand.

Designed to embody the best that the life, sea and land have to offer, TechnoMarine is an expression of Franck's experiences both luxurious and adventurous. Launched in St. Tropez, France at the tail end of 1997, the TechnoMarine watch line began with one elegantly designed watch - a stainless steel chronograph with a translucent plastic band called the Raft. Innovative in design and superior in craftsmanship, the TechnoMarine Raft sold over 50,000 units during its first year in production.

As a result of the Raft's success, in 1999 TechnoMarine set up its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California. From humble beginnings, with one computer in the Dubarry's California home, the company soon spawned a full collection of diving watches. The initial collection consisted of a combination of PU and stainless steel chronographs - combining luxurious French design with unrivaled Swiss technology. Produced in a variety of bright colors with interchangeable colored bands, the TechnoMarine watches allowed consumers to combine fun, vivid creativity with quality craftsmanship.

In 1999, TechnoMarine developed and launched a breakthrough design, the TechnoDiamond. Cheered by the industry at that year's Basel watch show and recognized around the world by sportsmen and luxury seekers alike, the TechnoDiamond was a truly unique innovation in the timepiece category. As the first original diamond chronograph, this fully functional diving watch and luxury accessory is complete with the signature TechnoMarine interchangeable gel bands and a carat of handpicked diamonds set in a stainless steel revolving bezel.

International recognition immediately followed and the TechnoDiamond became a celebrity favorite. Such diverse personalities as Madonna, Barbara Streisand, Lenny Kravitz, Sharon Stone, Ringo Starr and Arnold Schwartzenegger purchased the styles in droves. The celebrity interest, and subsequent exposure, sent the consumer demand for the TechnoMarine beyond the existing retail supply. Production was sent into overdrive and sales for TechnoMarine skyrocketed into the tens of millions almost overnight.

Since its inception in 1999, the TechnoMarine product line has grown to include more than 110 distinct styles while distribution has expanded to include retail outlets in six continents. From its original location in Los Angeles, TechnoMarine's US headquarters have moved to Miami, Florida - a premium location for its proximity to both Europe, where all of the company's research and development is done, and Latin America, where the new distribution center is located.

In 2001, TechnoMarine will evolve even further as the company splits to include two lifestyle-focused divisions, TechnoMarine and TechnoSport. Recognizing the different needs of consumers, the TechnoMarine and TechnoSport collections will more closely target consumer identities. The split will allow for each name brand to address a specific demographic, as opposed to trying to accommodate all consumers under one brand umbrella. The TechnoMarine line, with watches priced at $500 and over, will include more of the upscale styles, like the diamond timepieces, while maintaining the adventurous integrity of the TechnoMarine brand. The TechnoSport line, with watches priced at $500 and under, will include trendier, funkier pieces for a younger, more creative consumer.
