Concord Watches

A Century of Luxury & Quality

Early in the 1900's in Bienne, Switzerland, two young watchmakers sought to create timepieces of not only exceptional beauty and craftsmanship but movements that would permit a freedom of case design. By 1915, Their genius with precious metals and gems produced the first "private label" luxury watches. Over the years, Concord Watches, once prized as the official gift of U.S. Presidents to Heads-of-State, have become the timepiece to mark life’s momentous occasions.

Master Craftsmen
Concord craftsmanship and ingenuity are spectacularly exhibited in the Haute Horlogerie timepieces that represent the pinnacle of Swiss watchmaking. One of a kind (purchased by distinguished collectors), these hand-crafted mechanical movements are a triumph of precision engineering. They are indicative of the care and pride crafted into every Concord Watch.

In 1979, Concord earned world renown as the company that pioneered and perfected the ultra-flat Swiss quartz movement with Delirium.

Concord was founded in 1908 in Bienne, Switzerland. Concord has continued turning out timepieces of excellence for practically a hundred years. Within the primary decade of its subsistence, the trademark carved out a niche for itself as a producer of lavish timepieces, developed in platinum and accenting with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. In the 1920s, Concord started dabbling in clock design and revealed about this time the famed Concord Ring Clock. This became the first convenient eight-day winding travel alarm clock. About 20 years later the clock was still impressive. So impressive that president Harry Truman offered it to a number of heads of state in 1945, including Winston Churchill.
